Who said "Vanity, thy name is woman?" Maybe Shakespeare? Well, this is my story today.
I had my hair done last week -- trimmed and colored. My hair is fairly long and I like it, but have had it in the back of my mind for awhile to have it cut a lot shorter for the summer. On the spur of the moment today I decided I simply HAD to have it cut TODAY. I called the hair salon and "yes, Dana has one spot open." I grabbed it. My hair has always been wavy, and I sometimes try to straighten it with a flat iron, but usually have done a poor job. Dana can make it straight and silky, but forget it -- I simply can't. Well, I decided to forget the silky straight locks and just let it be natural. I know -- the grass is always greener.
I do like this new look, but I have a fear that maybe I now look a little like, well, HARPO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you remember the Saturday's that we'd go down to Murphy's with rollers in our hair and a scarf tied over? Some things are best left in the past!
Yes -- thanks for being there to remind me!! However------- your rollers were bigger than mine!
I didn't expect music! I usually have my volume turned off, but had forgotten it was on when I opened your blog. LOL Very nice.
Since I've let my hair grow long, I can now go without blow drying it if I really want to and it won't look too bad once it dries. When I had shorter hair, I could never get away with that. My hair would always dry funny.
literary feline, thanks for commenting on the music. I am still adjusting to my new hairdo.
