I thought I would take some pictures of some charming beach houses. I live just outside of two beach towns that have historic roots. Aren't these sweet?
One of the delights of being a Realtor is getting to see so many houses - inside and out. Have you ever walked down the street in the evening and wondered what the inside of a certain house looks like? Every Wednesday we have our sales meeting and tour our new listings. Today we toured a house that was built in 1790! The present owner had restored it well and expanded it in keeping with the vintage of the home. There was even a little brick dog house that was originial with the property.

I love those houses! I still want to move up there when Dom stops working.
Those houses are gorgeous.
Confession time. When I walk around neighborhoods, I'll often peek in windows (from the sidewalk, of course) to see how the room is decorated.
That's one of the things I used to love about trick-or-treating as a kid, when people open their doors you not only got candy, but you got to look inside their livingrooms for a minute.
I'm strange, I know.
Kookiejar - I do the same thing. Plus I love to look in garages to see how people have handled the storage of tools and such problem.
lynne and kookiejar - I don't think wondering how people live behind closed doors is very strange. Really. Oh, you were referring to decorating. Well, either way -- it is interesting.
lynne - You know I can sell you a house. I almost did once.
ah, that does sound like a great perk of being a realtor! I would love to see lots of homes inside and out!

That would definitely be a fun part of your job! The photos are cool. I'm more of a rusty iron type of gal, but there is just something about a white picket fence, isn't there?
