I am sitting here reading blogs and realizing how much I am enjoying getting to know people through the ethernet (is that what it is called?). Thank you Lynne for introducing me to this new and interesting hobby.

I took the day off from work today. It was beautiful here and I almost went to the beach. (sorry kookiejar, but we have beaches here.) Almost, but didn't. Took Beau for a walk with his best friend, a little Cairn Terrier named Picasso, and his mom. I will have to take a picture of the two of them -- they are so funny. They are so excited to see each other and then we all walk along and the dogs don't really pay a lot of attention to each other, except to raise their legs on the same bushes and mailboxes. It got hot today in the sun and the two little guys stopped us so they could lie down under a shade tree. So cute.

On another note: I bought a little food chopper (like a mini food processor) and I have really found it handy to chop onions, etc. Well, I used it to chop onions for my spaghetti sauce for dinner and when I went to clean it, the darn blade thing is now jammed in sideways against the side of the jar. I can't get it out to put it back in the way it should be!! Well, it just goes to show you, it's always something! (Remember when Roseanna-Anna-Danna said that on Saturday Night Live?)

That's my day today and now it's off to meet The Sandman.

Finally success to posting
a comment.

Picasso loves to have his picture taken. Beau and Picasso are so
cute together.

Even though they keep a distance,
they seem to smile at each other,
keep a connection. Something like the Susan P. Schultz quote.

I would love to go to a real beach someday. My mother-in-law lives in Florida, so the possibility is there.

I liked Roseanna-anna-danna, but I loved Emily Patella. "What's wrong with sax and violins on television? I think there should be more sax and violins" "Emily, that's sex and violence, not sax and violins." "Oh. Never mind."

Thanks Kim for visiting my blog and for your comments. The little guys are so cute together.
Kookiejar - I forgot about Emily Patella -- I loved her!! I actually say "never mind" a lot.

Hey Violetlady --

I replied to your question about workshops in my comment trail.

Now, if you haven't already been sucked in, I do need to warn you that this blog-visiting thing is very addictive. I spend a lot of time cruising blogs when I really should be working. But working just isn't as much fun :)

Tristi, I have already been sucked in I am afraid.

ah, you've fallen into the "blogging hole" I see! It's hard to limit yourself to just a few a day, isn't it??

Wishing you a lovely weekend,
Lidy

Has Linda started her blog yet?

I want to go to the beach!

I bet Beau and Picasso are cute together. Have you taken any pictures of them?

I have a food chopped from Pampered Chef that I love. Easy to use and easy to clean.
