I am having a giveaway! No reason. Just because. The "Victoria" magazine has been a favorite of mine since the first issue quite some years ago. (See my 10/29/07 post) I was devastated when they ceased publication. A lot of people were. One day I received a letter that they were starting the magazine again. I was ecstatic.
To celebrate my "bliss" (as on the cover Bliss - Victoria) I am giving away a subscription to this wonderful magazine to some lucky lady.
By the way, I was reading the Jan/Feb issue (shown above) and there was an article about one of our fellow bloggers and a peek at her lovely home in France. Check out Corey's blog. It is called Tongue In Cheek.

About the hankies...I always carry one in my purse, they look pretty as a doily, framed, I've seen pillows and quilts made from hankies and you can use them to make sachets or wrap a small gift in one.I know there are probably more ways to use them but these are my only ideas. Hugs, Linda

I'm not all that familiar with the magazine, although I think that is the one my sister in law was mentioning. It looks like it is a wodnerful magazine!
You asked about my spinning wheel. Yes, I will post photos of it soon along with the fiber that is currently on the spools. Maybe I can do the photography tommorrow or Saturday....
Oh, BTW, I've been thinking and thinking about that 6 word meme. I have one for five words but haven't figured out how to make another word in there sound right. This has been a good 'brain' and 'thoughtful' exercise.
I just lost what I wrote...I wonder where those words go?
I was so pleased to open your blog and find a Victoria Magazine giveaway!! It is my all time favorite magazine and I'm so glad they brought it back!! My favorite issues are August..of any year. They profile all kinds of interesting ladies and their businesses. I know some lucky person will enjoy your very generous gift!!

Oh, how thoughtful, and for no reason at all. What a wonderful thing to do. My business partner and I have used this magazine often as inspiration when we are in the studio working. Love the style of the magazines. I don't have a subscription but would LOVE one. Please include me in this contest.
