I live equidistant between two small beach towns in Delaware. Both towns are considered historic, each in its own way. The towns draw tourists and vacationers from all over the East Coast and elsewhere.
Here are a few pictures taken within the past few days through my car window and camera lens. They are not necessarily postcard views, but just typical of what I see everyday. I'll continue to take some candid shots and share them with you.
Oh, what a good idea. Sometimes you do wonder exactly where our blog buddies live. I especially like you have a source for the organic herbs. I have put in a variety and am planning to try growing some over the winter. I now grow parsley with a grow light for my dog bones. Thank you for the pictures and I look forward to seeing more. Barbara
I love the idea of taking candid shots of where you live also. The one thing that stands out to me more than anything in all of the pictures is how beautiful and blue your sky is.
I love the beaches of Delaware. I have spent many a summer at Bethany and Middlesex. My cousins and I would rent houses together with our families and then we would "entertain" the other beach goers with our antics! I love your pictures.
What lovely photos! I especially liked the stall with jam. I was supposed to be having a table in a gazebo at the Church fete on Saturday, unfortunately we didnt have your weather! It rained so hard we ended up in the Church.
I love the photo at the bottom of your page too, is that where you live? xx
I am a proud Grammy, a mother, a sister, a wife and a friend. I am slowly drifting towards retirement and enjoy the small, quiet things in life. I read a lot, love antiqueing and thrifting, old black and white movies and studying my family history. I am never bored with my own company. As the old song says, "I Love Paris." It was always my dream to go there and I was able to travel there with my only daughter to celebrate our birthdays a few years ago. I may never get there again, but I will never forget it.

Hi Tina, neat pictures....I'd love to visit and poke around in both towns, and then visit the beach for sure. Hugs, Linda
