HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY

The great prognosticator, Punxutawney Phil, arose at dawn today at Gobbler's Knob in Pennsylvania, saw his shadow and declared that there would be six more weeks of winter.

Phil has been predicting his winter forecast since the 1800's and I think he is to be believed, don't you?

A movie that I really enjoy is "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray. So funny! Sometimes I feel just like Bill. Some days I wake up and know it will be the same ol', same ol'. Just sometimes, though. I hope I find the movie on TV tonight.

I hope you all have a great Groundhog Celebration tonight!

Our General Lee down here didn't see his shadow - so an early spring. I sure hope so. I'm so very tired of winter. Can't wait for nice weather again.

Did you get your invitation to the reunion?

Well, I am also ready for spring, we are having a wee little taste of it now. Actually above zero, in the 20's, I dont' think I ever imagined that I would think 20's as warm. Ahhh, live and learn. Hope you find your movie, good for a laugh. I know that feeling, I have to check and see what day it is, never mind the date! Barbara

I don't know if we have anyone looking for his shadow out west. If they did, I'm sure they saw it. Darn it. I'm already tired of the cold weather. Have fun with your movie!

My kindergarten class is going to do something about Groundhog's Day on Monday--my co teacher is planning something, I don't know what!

I love that movie too. Makes me laugh when Bill keeps killing himself, and then he robs the truck.

I think I have watched Groundhog Day three times since the first of the year. A classic that I don't tire of.

I didn't hear all day yesterday if Phil saw his shadow or not. On the 11PM news blurb they mentioned that they would have coverage. Wouldn't you just know it, I fell asleep before it came on. So great big thank yous for the coverage on your blog.

I just loved this! We watched the movie last night, and realized that we quote more lines from it than any other movie we've ever seen. Oh, do we love it!
