Isn't this the craziest looking building? It is the Zwaaendael Museum in Lewes, DE. I have lived near this building for 14 years and went into it for the first time a few days ago. It was built in 1931 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the first European (Dutch) settlement in the state. The design copies the City Hall in Hoorn, The Netherlands.

The weather here has been crummy for a few days - cloudy, a little rain, chilly. The kind of day that you just want to curl up with a good book. Did I do that, though? No. Other than a meeting this morning and a volunteer errand this afternoon, don't ask me what I did to fill up the day. Just one of those lost days, I guess. Oh, I did do something -- just remembered. I put away my Easter stuff. I did accomplish something!
Happy Trails!

That's a lovely building. I took a class in architecture when I was in college. Very interesting.

Oh, crud. I still haven't put away my Easter bunnies and things ... guess it is time to do that, isn't it? Thanks for the reminder.

That looks like a neat place. Can you believe I'm starting to like museums and such? Went to see the Titanic exhibit around Thanksgiving, and I'm going to see the Tut exhibit and the Tiffany glass exhibit. I'm finally growing up!
