Another day, another dollar. Sure. I am a Realtor and things are slow for me. Not for other people necesssarily, but certainly for me. I know they will pick up soon -- I just know it. I am not a big-time agent, just me in my small-time way.
I have been reading a lot of blogs and I see how much time is put into doing them. Some are so creative and informative and just full of human interest things. Maybe I should put more of my energy into doing my own blog. I think I am just in a real personal slump.
Easter was nice. Went to Easter Vigil Saturday night. During the day I colored some eggs just for fun. Ken (my husband) likes hardboiled eggs. Easter dinner was just the two of us -- clam dip and crackers, salad, baked ham, macaroni and cheese (made with extra sharp Canadian cheddar the way Ken likes it), corn casserole (made with Jiffy cornbread mix). The Easter bunny also left goodies for Ken. So much for my Weight Watchers! Actually, when I weighed myself today I had not gained anything.
Happy Trails, everyone!

Glad you had a great Easter. Sounds yummy. I love the new picture of you and your dog.
I have a theory...chocolate shaped like bunnies or Santas have 1/2 the calories. It works for me.
Your Easter sounds like it was very peaceful, the way Easter should be. You have a nice blog -- I enjoy the book lists and love violets! I also enjoyed reading about your experience coming into the Catholic church. As a cradle Catholic I find there is so much yet to learn. As a book lover, if you find any books that are especially meaningful, I'm always looking for new titles for our Parish library:)
Thanks for stopping by my place.
Sounds like you and Ken had a nice day. We had Susan and Donna both here for dinner - very tense meal. How do you make the corn casserole? Are you still doing WW? I need to get back to doing something! I'm not really gaining, but I'm not losing either.
Recipe for corn casserole which came from my daughter's mother-in-law:
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
1 stick melted butter
1 8oz. container sour cream
1 egg
Mix together and bake in pan at 350 d. for about 35 min. I baked it in a pyrex ll" long pan, but anything around that size or a casserole dish will do. Delicious!
Ha! VioletLady, I just saw your 'Hollywood' sign on your sidebar! Awesome. I love sign generators, in case you couldn't tell.
