Well that looks like fun, will have to give it a try. Like your new violet picture. As to chickens, I believe that the ones in our area might need some extra heat on the real cold nights. I am thinking a heat lamp, but will have to check closer. Many people are having chickens in their back yard, you might check and then be able to have fresh eggs.
