We have two huge holly trees in our yard and there are berries everywhere. We also have a little frog pond (man-made). As I am writing this I am looking out my window at the pond and there are about thirty birds enjoying the water. I guess it is a veritable feast at my house for the birds. I put suet and seed out in the winter and the seed was eaten, but the suet wasn't touched. I moved it to another location and the birds have eaten it all in a week.
Here is a photo of some tulips emerging. I thought it was early, but then I realized that the picture I posted on Monday (which was taken in a previous March) are the same tulips.
I just realized that today is Friday the 13th. I don't even like to think about it. Stay safe everyone!

It's been really nice here too. Hopefully spring is on its way. Our groundhog didn't see his shadow, so maybe he's right!
ReplyDeleteThose are certainly signs of spring! Those brave little daffodils!
ReplyDeleteIt's good seeing signs of spring, I'm so looking forward to warmer weather. I have brave little violets blooming and lots of camellias...but no blubs yet. Have a Happy Valentine's Day...hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteOh I hope spring shows up early this year! The winter has been so long.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day Sweet Violet!
Hugs, Sherry
We've been having spring-like weather all week, and the little spring peepers have been singing at the pond. The little jonquils are budding as well, even though they've been buried in ice just recently. Spring will be here soon, I hope!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
Hugs,
Renie
We have spring weather one day and snow/frost the next. I'm so looking forward to things "greening up" a bit.
ReplyDeleteLove listening to Frank's Sweet Valentine:)

I'm seeing lots of birds here too, especially in my feeder. My tulips and daffodil's are coming up too. I am anxious for spring. It's been a long winter.
